These showy annuals are easily cultivated from seed and form a tall bushy plant that blooms all summer long. Large double blooms are produced in a generous array of bright colours. Start the seed indoors 6 to 8 weeks prior to setting out. Press the seeds lightly into the soil surface, leaving them uncovered as they require light in order to germinate. A temperature of 21 degrees C is ideal. Once all risk of frost has passed, transplant the seedling into the garden.
