The young leaves start out looking normal, but quickly develop into super frills. Mostly red-blushed green in colour, but the plants vary in colour and frilliness levels. Sweet and tender, and extremely cold hardy. A newer variety, developed by Tim Peters from a rare inter-species cross of Siberian Kale and Mizuna. The Mizuna parentage makes it more tender than the average kale. Excellent in salads, even when the leaves get big.
